Superb John Rose Coalport plate. Lovely floral cartouches with top notch gilding. No marks but the pattern is shown on a cup and saucer on page 24 of 'British Tea and Coffee Cups 1745-1940' by Steven Goss. The caption against the cup and saucer reads "Coalport coffee cup and saucer of net embossed shape, c.1830 (Author's collection).
Good condition - Slight wear to the gilding on the rim near the bottom of the picture, light wear to the blue dots in the well of the plate and one small glaze frit on the foot rim.
